Our projects

By providing essential infrastructure such as pharmacies and schools, promoting sustainable agricultural practices and involving local communities, we are working towards a future in which all the inhabitants of Lukunga have access to basic needs as well as opportunities for growth and development.

Who are we ?

We are a group of people from Beauvechain (Belgium) who, alongside the local population, are committed to supporting the development of the village of Lukunga in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Together, we work towards the positive progress of their community.

How to participate?

Help us improve the future of Lukunga! We are also looking for motivated young people who would like to contribute to this adventure. Together, we can make a difference.

About Lukunga

Lukunga-Beauvechain Ensemble aims to improve health, the economy, food security, education and community development in Lukunga.

Ik zeg graag dat LBE een kleine vzw is, maar dat de impact ervan zichtbaar is vanuit de ruimte: de acaciaplantjes die we hebben helpen planten, zijn uitgegroeid tot een heus bos ! Maar vooral het verschil dat we maken in het dorp is gigantisch: door een aantal relatief bescheiden projecten die we hebben helpen opzetten (gezondheidscentrum, elektrische molen, visvijvers, bibliotheek, renovatie van de school...), zijn we erin geslaagd het leven van de Lukungais aanzienlijk te vergemakkelijken... Verbeteringen die ze vandaag zelf in stand houden. Dat is toch het doel van ontwikkelingssamenwerking, niet?
