Our vision
Supporting the inhabitants of Lukunga and its surrounding areas
The main objective of Lukunga-Beauvechain-Ensemble is to support the inhabitants of Lukunga and its surrounding areas. The mission is divided into two key parts:

In Lukunga
Develop and support the team of the health centre built by the Lukunga-Beauvechain-Ensemble non-profit organisation. Support and accompany local initiatives such as the installation of a grain mill — now managed by local micro-entrepreneurs — the development of agricultural projects and the encouragement of new initiatives. Implement other local projects that concretely improve daily life within the community. For example, classrooms have been built and we are currently working on a project to pump water to the village.

In Beauvechain
Encourage young people to become involved in a concrete project in Africa through guidance and motivation, and by taking part with them in local initiatives (construction, fish farming, education, etc.). We also encourage them to finance their own trip — which is an additional source of motivation — and we support them in their fundraising activities (concerts, dinners, local festivals) in Belgium. We also help them with the various initiatives undertaken to raise awareness among the population of Beauvechain and the surrounding area.

More generally, in both countries
Work together with other NGOs to actively contribute to North–South cooperation and development by fostering contacts, exchanges and the sharing of knowledge.
